here are some of my first jabs at warhammer 10mm (or any 10mm, or any painting). these pics are already a couple of days older, and at the time I had not finished basing the regiment of swordsmen, and had not based the dwarfes at all. now I have. anyway, I am currently doing the rest of my starting empire army, and my next pics shall be them all togather, as a whole force. expect to see greatswordsmen, handgunners, knights, and of course, more dwarves to fight said humans as you watch me take my painting baby steps.

Embark with me, on a journey into the soul of the world of warhammer; into the soul of battle and war itself
"Prepare thyself to enter a world of daemons and vile sorcery, of battle and death, of violence and of madness."
"The fate of the world, be it damnation or salvation will soon be decided. This is a world of eternal war and fleeting glory. This is the world of Warhammer."
"The gods of strife shall feast upon this day, and every day hence, until the end of time!" This is the world that is presented to us in gamesworkshops Warhammer lore. a world of legions of men monsters, and thing in-between fighting , a world of endless war. a world where our interest in battle, our admiration of warriors from our histroy, from our mythology, and our imagination can be put forth onto our tables with a charm that few other avenues can produce. But gamesworkshop does not facilitate this. true those with the instincts of a true artist and the wallet of a noble-merchant of Averland can achieve something resembling the spirit of warhammer lore, but not most gamers, and most certianly not I. so, I young, poor, and inexperianced in the hobby have decided to tackle the challenge creating a warhammer world all as it should be. instead of 28mm models, I shall use 10mm, some pendraken, some kallistra, some eureka, and only a very few GW, a scale that lends itself to the massive battle of warhammer far better than the giant money eaters GW sells now, in challenge to paint, in space taken up, and, above all, in cost. instead of using the now prevalent strict view of war-hammer, strangled almost to liflessness by years of tournement play and profit based descisions of GW's part. instead, I shall use not only Warhammer official books, but also the unofficial supplements and army books, I shall experiment with other rulesets and endeavor to put their best elements into my own, home-brew engine of war. you shall see me make mistakes, you shall see sloppy paint jobs and grammatical errors, but I admit that, and if you consider yourself above such things, then maybe you should not read this blog at all. Any help in this quest will be greatly appreciated, advice will be respected, criticism will be taken respectfully and with view towards learning from it, and together, we shall make warhammer what its meant to be.
